Moon Girl og Devil Dinosaur er basert på Marvels populære tegneserie. Den følger eventyrene til det 13 år gamle supergeniet Lunella Lafayette og hennes T-Rex på ti tonn, Devil Dinosaur. Etter at Lunella ved et uhell bringer Devil Dinosaur inn i dagens New York City, jobber duoen sammen for å beskytte byens Lower East Side mot fare.
